Quinn Pham (A'21) is studying International Relations and Cognitive and Brain Science with a minor in Computer Science. She is interested in the intersection between international dynamics and human behavior as well as the overlap between cognitive processes and computer processes. This summer, she is working at the Tufts Human Robot Interaction Lab.

She adores Tim Urban, who runs her favorite blog, waitbutwhy.com and hopes that she will live to see artificial general intelligence.

Publicity Chair

Shirley Wang (A’21) is from Tianjin, China and Piscataway, New Jersey. As the publicity chair, Shirley loves getting the idea out there and support female-identifying people in the field of IR. She finds it really interesting to explore the intersectionality between gender and academics in such a male-dominated field.

She’s double majoring in International Relations with a concentration in Identity and Art History, concentrating on medieval and the Renaissance. With these two majors, she wants to explore how policy and different socio-economic background affect the production and circulation of art. She will be interning at Endeavor, an entrepreneur selection and growth firm in New York this 2019 summer.

Fun fact-- her favorite video of all time is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIePsbJSS04
